حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَخِي ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ (٤) مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مِنْ رَآنِي فِي الْمَنَامِ فَسَيَرَانِي فِي الْيَقَظَةِ، أَوْ فَكَأَنَّمَا رَآنِي فِي الْيَقَظَةِ، لَا يَتَمَثَّلُ الشَّيْطَانُ بِي "، ، فَقَالَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ: وقَالَ: أَبُو قَتَادَةَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ رَآنِي فَقَدْ رَأَى (١) الْحَقَّ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: Whoever is blessed with seeing me in a dream, he will soon see me while awake, or he should be certain that he has indeed seen me, for Satan does not have the power to assume my form or appearance. It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: Whoever is blessed with seeing me in a dream, he should be certain that he has indeed seen me.
