حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي أَنَّهُ: سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِذَا بَالَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلَا يَمَسُّ ذَكَرَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ، وَلَا يَسْتَنْجِي بِيَمِينِهِ، وَلَا يَتَنَفَّسُ فِي الْإِنَاءِ " (١)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: When one urinates, he should not touch his private part with his right hand; when entering the toilet, he should not clean himself with his right hand; and when any of you drinks something, he should not breathe into the vessel.
