Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Amr bin Jamuh (may Allah be pleased with him), who had a limp in his leg, came to the service of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Tell me, if I fight in the way of Allah and am martyred, will I be able to walk in Paradise with a sound leg?" The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "Yes!" Then, on the day of the Battle of Uhud, the polytheists martyred him, his nephew, and a freed slave. When the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) passed by them, he said, "I see you walking in Paradise with this leg of yours, sound and whole." Then the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) ordered regarding the two of them and their slave, and the people buried them all in one grave.
