حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ (١) ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ لَقِيطٍ التُّجِيبِيِّ،، ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حَوَالَةَ الْأَزْدِيِّ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " مَنْ نَجَا مِنْ ثَلَاثٍ فَقَدْ نَجَا "، قَالَهُ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ، قَالُوا: مَاذَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: " مَوْتِي، وَمِنْ قَتْلِ خَلِيفَةٍ مُصْطَبِرٍ بِالْحَقِّ يُعْطِيهِ، وَالدَّجَّالِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Hawalah that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever is saved from three things is indeed saved (he said this three times). The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked: What are they, O Messenger of Allah? The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: My death, the killing of a steadfast caliph upon the truth, and the Dajjal.
