حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ بَحِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ هَمَّارٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَيُّ الشُّهَدَاءِ أَفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ: " الَّذِينَ إِنْ يُلْقَوْا فِي الصَّفِّ لَا (٢) يَلْفِتُونَ وُجُوهَهُمْ حَتَّى يُقْتَلُوا، أُولَئِكَ يَتَلَبَّطُونَ (٣) فِي الْغُرَفِ الْعُلَى مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ، وَيَضْحَكُ إِلَيْهِمْ رَبُّكَ، وَإِذَا ضَحِكَ رَبُّكَ (٤) إِلَى عَبْدٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا فَلَا حِسَابَ عَلَيْهِ " (٥)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Naeem bin Hammar (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man asked the Holy Prophet (ﷺ): "Which martyr is the most virtuous?" The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) replied: "Those who, when they reach the battlefield in front of the enemy, do not turn their faces away until they are martyred. These people will reside in the upper chambers of Paradise, and their Lord will look at them and smile. And when your Lord smiles at any servant in this world, know that there will be no reckoning for him."
