حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ قَالَ: مَرَّ بِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ دُلَّنِي عَلَى صَدَقَةٍ. قَالَ: " اسْقِ الْمَاءَ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Saad bin Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) passed by me, so I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Tell me of a charitable deed." The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Give water to drink."
