حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ أَفْلَحَ،، ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لِلْمُسْلِمِ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِ أَرْبَعُ خِلَالٍ: أَنْ يُجِيبَهُ إِذَا دَعَاهُ، وَيُشَمِّتَهُ إِذَا عَطَسَ، وَإِذَا مَرِضَ أَنْ يَعُودَهُ، وَإِذَا مَاتَ أَنْ يَشْهَدَهُ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: A Muslim has four rights over another Muslim: when he invites him, he should accept it; when he sneezes, he should respond; when he is ill, he should visit him; and when he passes away, he should attend his funeral.
