حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو جَهْلٍ: فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that he said:

The people of Badr were three hundred and thirteen men, the Muhajireen were seventy six, and the defeat of the people of Badr was on Friday the seventeenth of Ramadan.
