English translation
It is narrated from Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) that he asked the Holy Prophet (ﷺ), "What is the most excellent form of faith?" The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "To love and hate for the sake of Allah, and to keep your tongue busy with the remembrance of Allah." He asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Anything else?" The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Like for people what you like for yourself, and dislike for them what you dislike for yourself."
