حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ ابْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " {تَتَجَافَى جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ الْمَضَاجِعِ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا} [السجدة: ١٦] قَالَ: " قِيَامُ الْعَبْدِ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The meaning of 'their sides forsake their beds' is that a person gets up at night for Tahajjud."
