حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رَمْلَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ مُعَاذٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " أَوْجَبَ ذُو الثَّلَاثَةِ ". فَقَالَ مُعَاذٌ: وَذُو الِاثْنَيْنِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ: " وَذُو الِاثْنَيْنِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: "For the person in whose favor three people bear witness, Paradise becomes obligatory for him." Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What if there are two?" He replied, "If there are two, then the same ruling applies."
