حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ: عَبْدُ اللهِ قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ مُعَاذٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَنْ يَنْفَعَ حَذَرٌ مِنْ قَدَرٍ، وَلَكِنَّ الدُّعَاءَ يَنْفَعُ مِمَّا نَزَلَ وَمِمَّا لَمْ يَنْزِلْ، فَعَلَيْكُمْ بِالدُّعَاءِ عِبَادَ اللهِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Planning and precaution are of no benefit against destiny, but supplication is beneficial for things that have descended and for things that have not descended. Therefore, O servants of Allah! Make supplication obligatory upon yourselves.
