Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Jihad is of two kinds. Whoever performs jihad to seek the pleasure of Allah, obeys his leader, spends his life, makes things easy for his fellow travelers, and avoids discord and corruption, then his sleeping and waking are both rewarded. And whoever performs jihad for pride, show, and fame, disobeys the leader, and spreads corruption in the land, then he does not return with even as much reward as would suffice him.
