حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْأَعْمَشَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ: أَنَّ مُعَاذًا قَالَ: وَاللهِ إِنَّ عُمَرَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، وَمَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ لِي حُمْرَ، ، النَّعَمِ، وَإِنَّكُمْ تَفَرَّقْتُمْ قَبْلَ أَنْ أُخْبِرَكُمْ لِمَ قُلْتُ ذَاكَ؟ ثُمَّ حَدَّثَهُمُ الرُّؤْيَا الَّتِي رَأَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي شَأْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: " وَرُؤْيَا النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَقٌّ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) that, by Allah! Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) will be in Paradise, and I would not even like to have red camels in exchange for this (certainty). And before I tell you the reason for my statement, you people are dispersing. Then he narrated the dream which the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) saw regarding Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), and said that the dream of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) is true. (The Noble Prophet [peace and blessings be upon him] said: Once, in a dream, I was inside Paradise and I saw a palace there. I asked the people, "Whose is this?" They replied, "This belongs to Umar bin Khattab [may Allah be pleased with him].")
