Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) that an Ansari man came to the service of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "I saw a dream last night which I remember as clearly as if it happened while I was awake. I saw a man who descended from the sky, wearing two green sheets. He landed on a tree in a garden of Madinah Munawwarah and repeated the words of the adhan twice each. Then he sat down, and after a while, he gave the iqamah, and in that too, he repeated the words twice each." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You have seen a very good dream. Teach these words to Bilal." Umar Farooq (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I also saw a similar dream, but he preceded me."
