حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الطُّفَيْلِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ، قَالَ: " خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفْرَةٍ سَافَرَهَا، وَذَلِكَ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ، فَجَمَعَ بَيْنَ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ " قُلْتُ: مَا حَمَلَهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ: " أَرَادَ أَنْ لَا تُحْرَجَ أُمَّتُهُ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) set out on a journey; this is the incident of the Battle of Tabuk. During this journey, the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) combined the Zuhr and Asr prayers, and the Maghrib and Isha prayers. The narrator asked the reason for this, so he replied that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) wished that his Ummah should not face hardship.
