حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ (١) حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ قَبِيصَةَ بْنِ الْهُلْبِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: " رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاضِعًا يَمِينَهُ عَلَى شِمَالِهِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ، وَرَأَيْتُهُ يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ " (٢)، •

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Hilb (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) placing his right hand over his left hand on his chest, and the right hand was on the joint of the left hand. I also saw the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) returning from the right side and also from the left side.
