English translation

Abu Musabbih Al-Awza'i (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once we were walking in a place called "Darb Qalamiyah" when our leader, Malik bin Abdullah Khath'ami (may Allah be pleased with him), was called by a man who was driving his horse along the width of the mountain, "O Abu Abdullah! Why don't you ride?" He replied, "I heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) say: 'The feet of a person that become dusty for even a moment in the path of Allah, both of them become forbidden for the fire of Hell.'"
