حَدِيثُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ ابْنِ الرَّاهِبِ أَبِي عَامِرٍ الغَسيلِ غَسِيلِ المَلائِكَةِ (١)، ٢١٩٥٧ - حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ غَسِيلِ الْمَلَائِكَةِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " دِرْهَمٌ رِبًا يَأْكُلُهُ الرَّجُلُ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ، أَشَدُّ مِنْ سِتَّةٍ وَثَلَاثِينَ زَنْيَةً " (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abdullah bin Hanzalah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: The one dirham of usury which a person consumes knowingly is a greater sin than committing adultery thirty-six times.
