حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُبَارَكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ سَفِينَةَ: أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَشَاطَ (١) نَاقَتَهُ بِجِذْلٍ فَسَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " فَأَمَرَهُمْ بِأَكْلِهَا " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Safina (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man slaughtered his she-camel with a sharp-edged piece of wood, then asked the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) about its ruling. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) permitted him to eat it.
