Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ وَمُؤَمَّلٌ، قَالا: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَئِنْ عِشْتُ لَأُخْرِجَنَّ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى مِنْ جَزِيرَةِ الْعَرَبِ، حَتَّى لَا أَتْرُكَ فِيهَا إِلَّا مُسْلِمًا " (٣) .،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that 'Umar bin al Khattab said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “If I live, I shall certainly expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula, until I leave only Muslims there.”
