حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ هَزَّالٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُ: " " وَيْحَكَ يَا هَزَّالُ، لَوْ سَتَرْتَهُ، يَعْنِي مَاعِزًا، بِثَوْبِكَ، كَانَ خَيْرًا لَكَ " " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
Nuaim bin Hazzal narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said to his father, "Hazzal! By Allah! If you had concealed him in your clothes, it would have been better than what you did with him."
