Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ حَدَّثَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَعَرَّقَ كَتِفًا، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that
the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) slept until he could be heard breathing deeply, then he got up and prayed, and he did not do wudoo’, ‘Ikrimah said: The Prophet (ﷺ) was protected.
