حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْأَشْيَبُ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُرْوَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " يَأْتِي الشَّيْطَانُ الْإِنْسَانَ فَيَقُولُ: مَنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ؟ فَيَقُولُ: اللهُ، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ: مَنْ خَلَقَ الْأَرْضَ؟ فَيَقُولُ: اللهُ، حَتَّى يَقُولَ: مَنْ خَلَقَ اللهَ؟ فَإِذَا وَجَدَ أَحَدُكُمْ ذَلِكَ، فَلْيَقُلْ: آمَنْتُ بِاللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Sometimes Satan comes to a person and asks him, "Who created the heavens?" He replies, "Allah did." Satan asks, "Who created the earth?" He says, "Allah did," until Satan finally asks, "Then who created Allah?" When any of you experiences this condition, he should say: "I believe in Allah and His Messenger (ﷺ)."
