حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الْخَطْمِيُّ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ فِي الْمَنَامِ كَأَنِّي (١) أَسْجُدُ عَلَى جَبْهَةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَخْبَرْتُ بِذَلِكَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: " إِنَّ الرُّوحَ لَتَلْقَى (٢) الرُّوحَ " وَأَقْنَعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأْسَهُ هَكَذَا، فَوَضَعَ جَبْهَتَهُ عَلَى جَبْهَةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he saw himself in a dream prostrating on the blessed forehead of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). He presented this dream to the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "Indeed, the soul meets the soul." Then the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) lowered his head in such a manner that he (Khuzaymah) placed his forehead on the forehead of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).
