Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، احْتَجَمَ بِالْقَاحَةِ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade every wild animal that has fangs and every bird that has talons.
