حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ الْعَمِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ، عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " امْسَحُوا عَلَى الْخِفَافِ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ " وَلَوْ اسْتَزَدْنَاهُ لَزَادَنَا (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Khuzaimah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Wipe over the leather socks for three days. If we had requested for more days, the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) would have granted more.
