Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرَّحَبِيُّ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: " اغْتَسَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، مِنْ جَنَابَةٍ، فَلَمَّا خَرَجَ رَأَى لُمْعَةً عَلَى مَنْكِبِهِ الْأَيْسَرِ، لَمْ يُصِبْهَا الْمَاءُ، فَأَخَذَ مِنْ شَعَرِهِ فَبَلَّهَا، ثُمَّ مَضَى إِلَى الصَّلاةِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that
the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was treated with cupping in al-Qahah, when he was fasting.
