حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ (١) ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفَرَجُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَلْبَسٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ اللهَ فَرَغَ إِلَى كُلِّ عَبْدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ مِنْ خَمْسٍ: مِنْ أَجَلِهِ وَعَمَلِهِ وَمَضْجَعِهِ وَأَثَرِهِ وَرِزْقِهِ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah Almighty has written five things in the creation of every servant: his age, his deeds, his abode, his fate, and his sustenance.
