حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ يَعِيشَ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ (١) مَعْدَانَ، أَوْ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ: " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَاءَ فَأَفْطَرَ " قَالَ: فَلَقِيتُ ثَوْبَانَ، فِي مَسْجِدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ؟ فَقَالَ: " أَنَا صَبَبْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَضُوءَهُ " (٢)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) vomited, due to which the Prophet (ﷺ) broke his fast. The narrator says that once I met Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) in the Prophet's Mosque, so I asked him about this as well. He said: I was pouring water for the Prophet (ﷺ) for ablution.
