حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي زَكَرِيَّا الْخُزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّكُمْ تُدْعَوْنَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِأَسْمَائِكُمْ وَأَسْمَاءِ آبَائِكُمْ، فَأَحْسِنُوا (١) أَسْمَاءَكُمْ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: On the Day of Resurrection, you will be called by your names and the names of your fathers, so keep good names.
