Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " صَلُّوا فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ، وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوهَا قُبُورًا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Zaid bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: Do not make your houses like graveyards, rather offer prayers in them as well.
