Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ طَرِيفٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَهْمِ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ وُهْبَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "مَنْ فَارَقَ الْجَمَاعَةَ شِبْرًا، خَلَعَ رِبْقَةَ الْإِسْلَامِ مِنْ عُنُقِهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever walks even a handspan against the congregation removes the rope of Islam from his neck.
