حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَسْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ الصَّامِتِ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَيُّ الْكَلَامِ أَحَبُّ إِلَى اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ؟ قَالَ: "مَا اصْطَفَاهُ لِمَلَائِكَتِهِ: سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ، سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ، ثَلَاثًا تَقُولُهَا " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that a person asked the Holy Prophet (ﷺ), "Which speech is the best?" The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "That which Allah has chosen for His servants, that is, to say three times: Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi."
