حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ ثَابِتِ، ، بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَهُ (١) ، أَنَّ أَبَا ذَرٍّ، حَدَّثَهُمْ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: "إِنَّ اللهَ يَقْبَلُ تَوْبَةَ عَبْدِهِ، أَوْ يَغْفِرُ لِعَبْدِهِ، مَا لَمْ يَقَعِ الْحِجَابُ " قِيلَ: وَمَا وُقُوعٌ الْحِجَابِ؟ قَالَ: "تَخْرُجُ النَّفْسُ (٢) ، وَهِيَ مُشْرِكَةٌ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah Almighty continues to accept His servant’s repentance until the veil occurs. I asked, “What is meant by the veil occurring?” The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) replied: When a person’s soul departs while he is in a state of polytheism.
