Original Arabic
وَقَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: "بَشَّرَنِي جِبْرِيلُ: أَنَّهُ مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْ أُمَّتِكَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ " قَالَ: قُلْتُ: وَإِنْ زَنَى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ؟ قَالَ: "وَإِنْ زَنَى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
And [he] said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Sulayman, from Zayd ibn Wahb, from Abu Dharr, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: "Jibril gave me glad tidings: that whoever from your ummah dies not associating anything with Allah will enter Paradise." He said: I said, "Even if he committed adultery and even if he stole?" He said: "Even if he committed adultery and even if he stole."
