حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ أَشْيَاءَ يُؤْجَرُ فِيهَا الرَّجُلُ حَتَّى ذَكَرَ لِي غَشَيَانَ أَهْلِهِ، فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَيُؤْجَرُ فِي شَهْوَتِهِ يُصِيبُهَا؟ قَالَ: "أَرَأَيْتَ لَوْ كَانَ آثِمًا، أَلَيْسَ كَانَ يَكُونُ عَلَيْهِ الْوِزْرُ؟ " فَقَالُوا: نَعَمْ. قَالَ: "فَكَذَلِكَ يُؤْجَرُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) mentioned some things for which a person receives reward, and among them he also mentioned "approaching one's wife." The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) submitted, "O Messenger of Allah! Does a person receive reward even for fulfilling his desire?" The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Tell me, if he were to fulfill it in a forbidden way, would he not be sinful for it?" The people replied, "Yes." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Just as there would be punishment (for sin), in the same way there is reward (for doing it lawfully)."
