Musnad Ahmad Hadith 21328

It is narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, during the night, the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) began to pray and recited the same verse in bowing and prostration throughout the entire night until morning: "O Allah, if You punish them, they are Your servants, and if You forgive them, surely You are the Mighty, the Wise." When morning came, I submitted, "O Messenger of Allah! Did you recite the same verse continuously in bowing and prostration throughout the entire night until morning?" The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "I asked my Lord for the right of intercession for my Ummah, which He has granted me, and inshaAllah, it will be granted to everyone who does not associate anyone with Allah."
