Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ مُعَانِ (١) بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي خَلَفٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: "الْإِسْلَامُ ذَلُولٌ لَا يَرْكَبُ إِلَّا ذَلُولًا " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Islam is by nature an easy religion, and only an easy-going person rides upon it.
