حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنِي زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الرَّقَاشِيُّ الْخَرَّازُ، (٢) حَدَّثَنَا سَلْمُ (٣) بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ مِغْوَلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي (٤) الْفَضْلِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَوْزَاءِ،، ، عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "يَا بِلَالُ، اجْعَلْ بَيْنَ أَذَانِكَ وَإِقَامَتِكَ نَفَسًا يَفْرُغُ الْآكِلُ مِنْ طَعَامِهِ فِي مَهَلٍ، وَيَقْضِي الْمُتَوَضِّئُ حَاجَتَهُ فِي مَهَلٍ " (١)، •
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said to Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him): "Bilal! Leave some interval between your adhan and iqamah so that during this interval, whoever is eating may finish his food, and whoever needs to perform ablution may finish relieving himself."
