حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي السَّلِيلِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ أُبَيٍّ، وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ أُبَيٍّ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَأَلَهُ: "أَيُّ آيَةٍ فِي كِتَابِ اللهِ أَعْظَمُ؟ " قَالَ: اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ، فَرَدَّدَهَا مِرَارًا، ثُمَّ قَالَ أُبَيٌّ: آيَةُ الْكُرْسِيِّ، قَالَ: "لِيَهْنِكَ الْعِلْمُ أَبَا الْمُنْذِرِ، وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنَّ لَهَا لِسَانًا وَشَفَتَيْنِ تُقَدِّسُ الْمَلِكَ عِنْدَ سَاقِ الْعَرْشِ " (١)، ، وَهَذَا لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ أُبَيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) once asked him, "Which is the greatest verse in the Holy Qur'an?" He replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) repeated this question several times, so Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Ayat al-Kursi." Upon hearing this, the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Abul Mundhir! May knowledge be blessed for you. By Him in Whose hand is my soul, it will surely have a tongue and two lips with which it will glorify Allah at the foot of the Throne."
