حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الْحَرَّانِي، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنْ الطُّفَيْلِ بْنِ أُبَيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "لَوْلَا الْهِجْرَةُ، لَكُنْتُ امْرَأً مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، وَلَوْ سَلَكَ النَّاسُ شِعْبًا، أَوْ قَالَ: وَادِيًا، لَكُنْتُ مَعَ الْأَنْصَارِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: If there had been no migration, I would have been one of the Ansar, and if people were to walk on one path, I would walk with the Ansar on their path.
