قَالَ: وَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: "لَوْلَا الْهِجْرَةُ، لَكُنْتُ امْرَأً مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، وَلَوْ سَلَكَ النَّاسُ وَادِيًا أَوْ شِعْبًا، لَكُنْتُ مَعَ الْأَنْصَارِ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

He said: And I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "If it were not for the Hijrah, I would have been a man from the Ansar, and if the people took a valley or a mountain pass, I would have taken the one with the Ansar.".
