حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ زِرٍّ، قَالَ: قَالَ لِي أُبَيٌّ: "إِنَّهَا لَيْلَةُ سَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ، وَإِنَّهَا لَهِيَ هِيَ مَا يُسْتَثْنَى، بِالْآيَةِ الَّتِي حَدَّثَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَحَسَبْنَا وَعَدَدْنَا، فَإِنَّهَا لَهِيَ هِيَ مَا يُسْتَثْنَى " (١)، •
Translation
English translation
Zirr says that Ubayy ibn Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) told me that Laylat al-Qadr is on the twenty-seventh night of Ramadan. By the sign which the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) told us, we calculated and counted it, and it was that very night.
