حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَعْمَرَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ صُرَدٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ آيَةً، وَقَرَأَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ خِلَافَهَا، فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ. English translation
Bahz narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Ya'mar, from Sulayman ibn Surad al-Khuza'i, from Ubayy ibn Ka'b, who said: I recited a verse, and Ibn Mas'ud recited it differently, so I went to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and mentioned the matter to him...
