حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ، فَقَضَى حَاجَتَهُ، ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ وَيَدَيْهِ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَنَامَ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It was narrated that al Hasan - i.e., al-'Urani - said: Ibn 'Abbas said:

We do not know whether the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recited Qurʼan in Zuhr and ‘Asr, but we recite it.
