Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَرْجِسَ: " أَنَّهُ رَأَى الْخَاتَمَ الَّذِي بَيْنَ كَتِفَيِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَقَدْ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَمْ تَكُنْ لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Sarjis (may Allah be pleased with him) that he saw the Seal of Prophethood of the Prophet (ﷺ), which was between his two shoulders, and he also saw the Prophet (ﷺ), but did not get the opportunity of companionship.
