حَدِيثُ رَجُلٍ، ٢٠٧٦٥ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا قِلَابَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَائِشَةَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (١) أَتَقْرَءُونَ وَالْإِمَامُ يَقْرَأُ؟ "، أَوْ قَالَ: تَقْرَءُونَ خَلْفَ الْإِمَامِ، وَالْإِمَامُ يَقْرَأُ؟، قَالُوا: " نَعَمْ، قَالَ: " فَلَا تَفْعَلُوا، إِلَّا أَنْ يَقْرَأَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَاتِحَةَ الْكِتَابِ فِي نَفْسِهِ " إِنْ شَاءَ (٢) قَالَ خَالِدٌ: وَحَدَّثَنِي بَعْدُ وَلَمْ يَقُلْ: إِنْ شَاءَ، فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي قِلَابَةَ: إِنْ شَاءَ، قَالَ: لَا أَذْكُرُهُ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
A companion narrates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) once said, "Perhaps you recite (Qur'an) during the recitation of the Imam?" He repeated this question two or three times. The companions replied, "O Messenger of Allah, indeed we do so." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Do not do so, except that one of you wishes to recite Surah Al-Fatihah."
