حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ بْنِ قُنْفُذٍ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَبُولُ، أَوْ قَدْ بَالَ، فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ، فَلَمْ يَرُدَّ عَلَيَّ حَتَّى تَوَضَّأَ، ثُمَّ رَدَّ عَلَيَّ " (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Muhajir bin Qunfudh (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) was urinating or had just finished urinating. I greeted him with salam, but he did not reply until he had performed ablution, and then he replied to me.
