Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْعَوَّامِ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ بْنِ أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " " الْخِتَانُ سُنَّةٌ لِلرِّجَالِ، مَكْرُمَةٌ لِلنِّسَاءِ " " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Circumcision is a Sunnah for men and an honor for women.
